My website is intended to give you an overview of the services that are on offer drawing upon my work and experience as a Children’s Occupational Therapist (OT) and Youth and Children’s Worker (YCW).
I can provide assessments, reports, tailor made treatment packages, interventions, recommendations and training for children, young people, their parents/carers, teachers and other interested parties.

About Me
I have worked with Children and Young People for 20 years in both a paid and voluntary capacity as a Youth and Children’s Worker (YCW) and more recently qualifying as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT). I have led teams to design and deliver individual and group work to target specific needs.
I am a fully qualified and insured Children’s OT and YCW, registered with Health and Care Professions Council, who regulate all professional health care workers. I am also a Member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT), and a member of the Institute for Youth Work (IYW).
I have a keen interest in consuming relevant and current research to inform and guide my work, and I protect time regularly to keep up-to-date with recent developments within the world of paediatric OT and youth work.

This option can be used if parents/carers require a second opinion, or if evidence is needed towards EHCPs or others matters requiring formal clinical observations, assessment and report.
The Process
I use a client-centred approach and select standardised or none-standardised assessments to gather information about how your child is able to function within their home, school and while out and about. My occupational therapy work is built upon quality evidence-based research which seeks to bring about positive change.
